5. Believe it can be done. If the leader does not think it can be done, how can the team be different. People want to be part of a winning team.

When we set out to launch Paradigm Consulting, we thought through important aspects of business where we have extensive knowledge and experience and focused on those things e.g. line of business management, negotiations, sales, customer service, etc. But as we considered it more, we realized that an understanding of the key aspects of business only gets you so far, it is leadership that makes the real difference.
